Manager

We are seeking an energetic baker to join our team as a Bakery Manager. As the Bakery Manager, you set and assign daily tasks to bakers and staff, ensure positive customer interactions, manage supply and reordering, and perform light bookkeeping duties. This is a supervisory position, meaning that candidates must have at least three years of experience in a bakery, preferably in a leadership position. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and you should be able to foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork among staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

    *Assign daily tasks to staff *Make and set schedules for workers *Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and steps in regularly to perform various responsibilities as business needs dictate *Ensure positive customer experiences *Monitor supply levels and reorder as necessary *Conduct light bookkeeping *Facilitates the opening and closing of the bakery, including cash drawer balancing and bank deposits *Manages all controllable expenses, including labor, COGS, maintenance, and supplies, to maximize profitability *Leads with an unwavering guest focus and exhibits strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, empower and motivate a team and communicate effectively in both oral and written form. *Excels at delegating duties, communicating clear expectations, directing others' work, and managing performance
